Hi, my name is Oksana.

I love taking photographs. I've always been passionate about photography for as long as I can remember. When I was living in Ukraine I used to borrow my sister's digital camera and used it to capture everything I saw, before she gifted me with a more advanced model. I can't express my gratitude and how happy I was, but not as happy as when she asked me to photograph her wedding. At that stage I knew very little about shooting weddings, but I was determined to do a good job for my sister. She always believed in me and she entrusted me with capturing her big day. Her wedding inspired me so much, that I wanted to continue working in this field, gaining experience and mastering my skills.
4 years later here I am in Ireland.

I'm even more in love with shooting weddings now than ever before. I'm always excited to meet new couples, hear their stories and get to know their personalities.

My style is observational. I prefer taking natural and candid photographs, nobody wants to spend their entire wedding day posing for photographs. I know from experience this can be exhausting. It's your special day and I want to faithfully document it as it happened, to show how much fun you and your guests had. I do incorporate traditional portraits of the couple and their family, but it will not be the entire focus of the day and I aim to make the photo shoot as relaxing and stress-free as possible.

I am based in Portlaoise, but I am always prepared to travel far and wide to every beautiful location this island has to offer. I am even open to travelling abroad for your destination wedding.
